Two Suspects Cause Chaos in Alberta | Calgary News

Two suspects on a wild, destructive rampage across southern Alberta stole trucks, siphoned diesel, and caused chaos in rural communities — all while evading police for hours. The chase, which involved a helicopter and spike belts, ended with their arrest on Highway 9, where officers found weapons inside the truck. Both men, Nevada Desjarlais, 21, and Jonathan Meakin, 37, now face multiple serious charges including dangerous driving, theft, and weapons offenses, with more charges expected as the investigation continues.
