Two Transfers Ignite Louisville Offense | Louisville Football News

Louisville’s offense is exploding with two four-star transfers, Lawayne McCoy and Tre Richardson, already rewriting the playbook in just two games. Richardson lit up the field with a 62-yard TD catch and a 30-yard TD run from Vanderbilt, while McCoy dazzled with a 54-yard touchdown against Ole Miss from Florida State. Together with QB Lincoln Kienholz, they’ve turned Louisville’s passing game into a scoring machine — averaging 48.5 points and 552 yards per game. Last week, Richardson led the team with seven catches, and McCoy topped them in receiving yards with 102, including another big play. With SMU looming and kickoff at 3:30 PM, their next performance could decide whether this momentum continues or fades.
