There is often a much deeper reason for wanting to achieve a certain number on the scale or a certain size in jeans. Our society is accustomed to externalizing our value to things like a weight or size goal, but this often results in constant dieting or an even worse relationship with food. This is especially common among women, and we learn these habits early from society and how we were raised.

It's fine to set goals, but on this podcast, our focus is sustainability, food freedom, and healing from the inside out. If you are internally driven to get into shape or reach any other goal, the lifestyle you'll need to adopt in order to reach that goal will be healthier, and you'll be much more likely to stay committed to it.

If you want to lose 30 pounds, ask yourself, why do I want to lose 30 pounds? Perhaps you want to feel better. Next, ask yourself, why do I want to feel better? It may be that you will be able to show up for your family better. By drilling down your goals like this, you will eventually reach the true reason for what you are trying to accomplish. It is much more powerful to understand the real reason why you are doing what you are doing than relying on a hollow number on the scale. Clarity and a deeper understanding of your core desire will keep you focused. This is why all of Amber's programs begin with clarifying your core desires, understanding your true intention, and getting clear on what your end game is.

Amber's 2-Day free event on November 15th and 16th is the perfect place to start if you would like to do the work of healing from the inside out and having food freedom that is effortless and sustainable. The link to sign up for this event can be found below.
