Intro :00 Billboard 1:15 New Bills Introduced to Allow Ham Radio Antennas in HOAs 1:30 In 2023 a bipartisan bill Titled Amateur Radio Emergency Preparedness Act was introduced to the US House of Representatives. This bill proposed to amend the Communications Act of 1934 to prohibit the application of certain private land use restrictions to amateur station antennas in HOAs. It didn’t pass. Now, the bill is back, and with it a grassroots effort to push it through legislation from none other than the ARRL. How You Can Help Get The Bills Passed 37:00 1. Write Congress.
