The ACLU argues that the language of the law would censor "protected" performances in front of children. Drag queens argue that they should be legally allowed to perform in front of children and that the new law that goes into effect in September will jeopardize their livelihoods and curtail their free speech. Texas Governor Greg Abbott refuted claims that the border buoy protecting the Texas border caused the death of two Mexican illegal aliens who tried to cross the border. Democrat Texas Rep.
