Tx2Tn Podcast Ep160 with Chris Welch

Chris Welch is a singer-songwriter and musician based in Jackson, Missouri. I was set to record a pod with at Jason Eady’s Way Down In Mississippi Festival but then I asked Jason if I could do the pod in one of the main rooms with an audience. Jason liked the idea so with limited equipment that I’d brought, we setup made it happen with a few mics, a speaker and a cell phone. Around 50 people came in to listen to Chris’ story and a few tunes. It was a very cool impromptu moment.
