TXRiverTonk 3/8/23 Sasquatch Slim
from TXRiverTonk Hosted by TXRiverTonk
TXRiverTonk broadcasts live from the KZSM studio in downtown San Marcos, TX Fridays 12-2pm (usually). This week we have a special Wednesday bonus episode with Sasquatch Slim before he heads to Riley's Tavern to record an episode of Down in a Dive. Since it's been almost a year since Slim was in studio, we catch up on what's been happening, talk a little about Guy Clark's ashes and Slim's Sunday Morning Coming Down sessions. Sasquatch Slim plays three original, unreleased songs live including "Love You More", "Dance Hall Queen" and the emotional finale "December the Seventh". We also spin "11 Months and 29 Days" and "Pop's Song" off of his first album Can't You See, released under his given name David Smith. We also talk about what's on the road ahead for Sasquatch Slim.
