Tyler Alexander Commits to Texas

Tyler Alexander, a four-star defensive lineman ranked 49th nationally and 42nd overall, has committed to Texas, sealing a major recruiting win. Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 305 pounds, Alexander was heavily pursued by Notre Dame, Colorado, and Georgia — the latter of whom will face him on the field in 2027. His Florida roots add prestige to the Longhorns’ class, now ranked sixth nationally with 18 commitments. Georgia, still chasing elite talent, sits at 13th with 17 commits, having landed another top DL, Antwan McKoy, but still eyeing a West Virginia WR flip. The battle for top recruits is heating up.
