Tyler Powell's Return Boosts Arizona's Tight End Group

Tyler Powell, Arizonas junior tight end, is making a strong comeback for the 2026 season after a foot injury sidelined him in 2025. Despite the setback, Powell was poised for a bigger role as a key blocker, following his impressive performance in 2024. The team has also bolstered their tight end group with three transfers, including Cole Rusk from Illinois, who has a strong track record. Powells rehab is progressing well, and hes expected to be fully cleared by May, ready to contribute to the teams offense alongside the new talent.
