Tynnille Bouchard- Induced Vaginal Birth turned Emergency C-Section, Successful VBAC with Vacuum Support and Episiotomy

Tynnille Bouchard from Brandon, Manitoba shares her two pregnancy and birth stories on this episode of Moony Birth Stories.  It took her and her husband 5-6 months to get pregnant with their first daughter and while it started off as quite a smooth pregnancy, the nausea and vomiting hit by about week 6 and was consistent until week 12 when it suddenly stopped.  From this point on, she struggled with severe congestion and some pelvic dysfunction.  She had hoped for an unmedicated birth and had feared an induction, but ended up being induced nonetheless.  After a lengthy labour and attempted interventions to deliver vaginally, she shares how she ultimately needed an emergency c-section for this first birth.  With her second child they ended up getting pregnant on their first try, cutting it a little bit close timewise to attempt a VBAC and the pregnancy was very similar to her first.  She goes into details of how she avoided a c-section this time and was able to have a successful VBAC.  She also shares a little bit of her postpartum experience during the Covid-19 pandemic and some resources that were helpful to her.Support the show
