Despite big performances by Tyrese Maxey, Quentin Grimes and Kelly Oubre Jr, the Sixers couldn’t get enough stops down the stretch and fell to the Atlanta Hawks 125-116, as the Sixers dropped to 0-4 against the Hawks this season. The loss drops the Sixers into 8th place in the Eastern Conference, meaning they would be forced to compete in the Play-In Tournament if the season ended today. The Hawks were led by Jalen Johnson, who finished with 35 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 24, with Onyeka Okongwu, CJ McCollum and Dyson Daniels all finishing in double figures.
