Traditional live music has become increasingly commercialized, with high ticket prices, corporate fees, and distant stages creating barriers between artists and their most passionate fans. After a year of touring house parties & pop up shows in alternative venues, Tyson decided to put his personal money into PlayHouse & flip the old model on its head, putting artists in control of their shows and making intimate performances accessible to everyone.Obviously this resonates with everything we're trying to do here at the label too.
