U…F…O…

She knew he was a U… F… O… A little wonder no one could know. Out of nowhere, out of place, Yet somehow home within her space. No loud arrival, no disguise, Just quiet colour in her skies. Some people pass, then disappear. He simply happened… and stayed near. Then something broke without a sound. One heart left. One stayed around. Still that U… F… O… goes by, Drawing circles through her sky. Tiny signals, soft and slow, Only she was meant to know. Never calling, never gone, Only quietly moving on. Somewhere between “farewell” and “stay”, He kept orbiting anyway. She sent him where the silence streams, Beyond the reach of borrowed dreams. Still every orbit, soft and wide, Curved a little to her side. Some stars grow smaller to the eye, Yet never truly leave the sky. And every blink above the blue Carried home a silent clue. Funny how the furthest things Travel back on hidden strings. Some hearts answer without a sound, Long before they’re finally found. Maybe every passing glow Softened something deep below. Maybe every silent flight Made the landing feel more right. Still that U… F… O… comes near, Gentle as another year. Not demanding to belong, Only humming one more song. And if one evening she should smile Just a little longer than a while, Maybe all those years above Were only learning how to love. U… F… O… No final goodbye, no fading flame. Just a little light calling her name. Some things leave, but never go… They keep on glowing soft and slow.
