President Trump says U.S. negotiators are heading to Qatar for talks, while repeating that the denuclearization of Iran is a priority. The President is sending his son-in-law Jared Kushner and envoy Steve Witkoff to lead the negotiating team in Doha. Iran, however, says no talks with the U.S. are currently scheduled, underscoring the fragility of the June 17th interim peace agreement.The Supreme Court is set to issue its final rulings of the term on Tuesday. The justices will decide whether President Trump’s restrictions on birthright citizenship can stand under the 14th Amendment. The court will also rule on state bans limiting transgender athletes in girls’ and women’s school sports. In another case, the justices will rule on limits to how much money political candidates can spend in coordination with their parties.Four time world champion Germany was knocked out on penalties on Monday by underdog Paraguay. The South American nation held out in a 1-all in regulation and extra time. This defeat also marks the first time Germany lost a penalty shootout in 50 years. Meanwhile, African champion Morocco also knocking out the Netherlands on penalties and Brazil defeating Japan 2-1. Team USA will be back in action on Wednesday, playing Bosnia and Herzegovina in California.
