U.S. Olympics Ratings Going Strong

from Wisconsin's Midday News

ABC News Correspondent Jim Ryan talks about how after a disappointing finish in the women’s combined ski event last week, an American superstar on the slopes added to her collection of Olympic medals Wednesday. Mikaela Shiffrin brought her A-Game to the Alpine Skiing Women's Slalom. Meanwhile, Ben Ogden and Gus Schumacher led Team USA to the podium in Men’s Cross-Country. Finally, 22-year-old Jake Canter overcame a 2016 brain injury that nearly claimed his life to medal in the Men’s Slope-Style Snowboard event. Today, the women of Team USA hockey hope to extend their dominance in the Gold Medal game against Canada. Alyssa Liu, the last of the "Blade Angels" still in contention at Milan Cortina, hopes to become the first American to medal in Olympic figure skating in two decades. And through the first week-and-a-half, U.S. ratings have been strong, especially in a few select markets.
