U Talk Ep 31 - Stopping Anti-Asian Racism

Released March 2021. With the ongoing pandemic, we’ve seen an increase in racism and hate crimes against Asians. Since the onset of COVID-19 during 2019 and 2020, over 600 anti-Asian racism incidents were reported to the elimin8hate.org and covidracisim.ca.  On March 27, a Stop Asian Hate Rally took place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, organized by the Women of Colour Community Leadership Initiative Manitoba and Manitoba Chinese Family Centre.
