Sexual violence is an unfortunate reality for many. In Canada, sexual assault victimization was more than five times higher among women than men (Statistics Canada, 2021). Of Self-reported sexual assaults, nearly half (47%) were committed against women aged 15 to 24. Winnipeg-based filmmaker Danielle Sturk addresses this grim reality in her new film Why?
