Did you know that nearly half of the world's ice and desert-free land is used for agriculture, most of which is used for livestock? If the world switched to a plant-based diet, the land needed for agriculture would be reduced by 75%. Changing your diet can take a lot of work, but there are communities right here in Winnipeg encouraging plant-based diets.
