Romanek is being tried in Judge Susan Blanco's courtroom in the Eighth Judicial District in Fort Collins.McClintock asked that jurors hold the prosecution to the burden of proof required.In his opening statements, District Attorney Ritter referenced the reported friendship between Romanek and his wife Lisa, and former Loveland police officer Tammy Fisher, who the prosecution says tipped the Romaneks off to the child pornography investigation.
