UCA Bears Build for Championship Run | Central Arkansas Bears Basketball News

The University of Central Arkansas men’s basketball team is on fire after a historic season—winning their conference outright, grabbing the top seed, and finishing with a 22-12 record, their best Division I campaign ever. Coach John Shulman is keeping the momentum alive by reshuffling his staff: Brock Widders becomes Associate Head Coach and GM, Max Shulman adds Offensive Coordinator duties, Ryan Montgomery takes on Director of Player Development, and Creighton Lebo joins as a new assistant coach. With proven success from each promotion—including Widders’ recruiting magic, Max’s elite offense, and Montgomery’s player development—and fresh talent like Lebo (with NBA Summer League experience) and returning strength coach Ivan Hadzic, UCA is poised for another championship run in the UAC.
