UCF Poaches Syracuse LB Commit

Syracuse’s 2027 recruiting class just took a major hit as three-star linebacker Ian McDuffie flipped his commitment to UCF, leaving the Orange without any LBs committed for the class. It’s not the first time UCF has targeted Syracuse recruits—offensive lineman Marcus Small also flipped before McDuffie’s move. With only 17 players signed and ranked 39th nationally, Syracuse is scrambling to land top talent, including four-star RB Elijah Kimble, the top NY prospect, who visits this weekend. They’re also keeping tabs on Louisiana RB Tylek Lewis, who’s visiting Arkansas. The recruiting chess match is heating up as teams battle for elite talent.
