***Presentation in Spanish only*** This presentation, from a ‘varieties of capitalism’ approach, examines the trajectories of labor policies and union power in six Latin American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Costa Rica and Mexico) and their consequences in terms of poverty and social inequality. Do the differences identified amoung these countries in the past decade still persist today?
