You've got to adjust it. You've got to adjust it. Josh, this is the third time we've done this. It's adjusted just fine.

It's fine. Okay. Are you sure? Yeah, let's go.

Let's go. Yeah. Okay. Are we recording?

We are recording. We are live. Welcome everyone. Hey, listen, this is UCM JAG episode four.

And today we're here live and we will be reviewing the episode of JAG called Deja Boo, which was recorded at 24th, 1995. So quite a long time ago today. Any preliminary comments? Did you have a surprise?

No, I had no surprise. For the listeners? No. No surprise.

Oh, okay. Sorry. So anything preliminary? Yeah, I thought this episode was going to be a flashback the way it started.

I thought it was going to be a harm's dad episode with the flashbacks to what I thought was Vietnam. It kind of was a flashback episode to a certain extent. That's a little bit of a stretch, but yeah, I guess so. No.

Okay. Okay, so sure, I guess I'll start out the episode begins. It's black and white footage. There's a hilo, maybe two of them.

There's firing from the hilo coming down on the ground and it's coming down on what appears to be two women. There's a young man who's American, the two women are not their Asian of some type and harm is running after them and it looks like the helicopter's firing on the group, but particularly at this point in time, firing on these women, this young girl, harm apparently has some sort of attachment to both these ladies. But it's pulled away when he tries to rescue them. We find out later that he was in Laos looking for the remains of his father.

Yeah, this basically continues the theme that we'll see throughout JAG for many seasons to come, of harm looking for his dad and trying to get closure with that whole story with his dad being shot down in Vietnam. He looked very Ralph Majio like, didn't he with the little headband on and screaming for the girl? It's very karate kid too. The last facts were a little, I mean, I was thinking more Rambo kind of.

No, wasn't that cool. Or maybe one of the Chuck Norris Vietnam movies whose name I can't recall. Missing in action. Yeah, there you go.

It's a good thing we got our producer really to help us remember everything we forget. So, but yeah, it was a little kind of hokey, but whatever. Okay, I get the point. So is his main squeeze in Laos or Vietnam or wherever they were, got taken out.

And so all of a sudden we pan back and everything turns to color. It's present day. We are in present day. And he's and harm is in his chokers, his white navy formal dress uniform.

Oh, yeah. He's looking at this really beautiful Thai woman and they're having a lovely conversation both lost in each other's eyes. And it's kind of nice. It's kind of romantic.

And clearly there's attraction between the two of them. And all of a sudden who's going to ruin the entire event, but Meg Austin. Yes, yes. Meg Austin.

She's at this embassy little social gathering as well. And she sort of barges in on the conversation. And I think I think there was jealousy. No, no, I think you're wrong.

I think she barged in to let harm know who that lady was. Well, yeah, but she didn't need to barge in to tell you a little bit too far. This is a conversation. They're in a room with a lot of other people.

This is the wingman. This is the wingman. I'm going to save my my buddy because I don't know what they're doing. Even though they think there was a much more tasteful way to do that.

She didn't need to barge into the conversation that harm in this woman or not. I guess she could have pulled a fire alarm. Oh, come on. Hey, just ruining the entire woman.

But she does remind harm. Hey, you know what you were talking to? Yeah. I mean, she's married woman for one.

She's the Thai ambassador's wife. Right. So you may not want to be, you know, but we also saw something else at this party. We saw President Clinton.

We did it was awesome because but before that. So we see commander Lindsey. Oh my gosh. He is the biggest train wreck of a he's just he's just everything creepy and wrong about a JAG officer.

So far in the JAG series, he represents everything that's wrong with the series. So it's still trying to find its way. And as long as they have this guy here, the episodes are going to be a little bit. Everything about him is just is just they try to make him funny.

He has no sense of humor. He looks uncomfortable on camera. He's kind of a quirky looking guy anyway. He's always serious.

And there's nothing like about like about him at all. Yeah, did not ever really care for him. But he comes over. He does come back later.

You know, a little foreshadowing here for the series. And I continue to dislike him. But what they do with his character makes it interesting at least versus now we're kind of like, why is this guy even getting screen time? He's horrible.

And I can't even believe he made it past the first season. I'm really shocked. Yeah. I'm wretched.

It's what producer really say. And he really was. But commander Lindsey comes over. He's like, Hey guys, everybody rally look who the special guest is on the saxophone.

And it's none other than I think it's just a random clip. I know where it came from. I know where it came from. Was it don't tell me Arsenio Hall.

That's where I was. I saw him on Arsenio Hall in the background. There's no way it wasn't Arsenio Hall. I mean, I just when he was jamming with the band of the dog pound or whatever they call it back then at that show.

No, it was for sure for sure. But the saxophone playing was good. I liked it. Well, they've done something else over him.

I kind of think that's what happened. Really? Yeah. I don't think he was playing evening dance music on Arsenio Hall.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. I had to be done though. But it was a nice shout out to the president. I was trying to make the show relevant and like the president really cared.

So the president is the entertainment at the embassy party. And I think that's pretty much it. But harm is bothered by, as we close out the opening sort of act. Harm is watching this Thai woman and he just can't keep his eyes off of her.

That's because to use modern vernacular, she is triggering him. Right? Genius, right? He's getting triggered.

He's like, Oh, flashback, flashback because of this lady. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I guess whatever.

She's walking away and then everything goes to black and white again. And he sees the girl that he saw when he was 16 and he was in Laos, or Vietnam, or wherever he's walking away. And so it is intriguing. There that opening scene, that opening act was kind of it was okay.

You know, so then they roll into the opening and and then we here we are coming back off commercial into Arlington Cemetery. This was a big Marine Corps recruiting episode. I thought Marine for Marine. Yeah.

This is a rifle drill team. So there are a couple things about the episode that are a little different than future episodes. Jack. One of those is where harm lives.

And apparently instead of a he lives on a parade ground and they never stop practicing because every single scene where they go back to his house, these people are working and marching and playing music and drilling with rifles outside. And I'm like, dude, he can stand that every second of every day. And apparently he does because flash forward when he's talking to Meg, I think it's Meg or it's the Thai ambassador's wife, somebody at his house. And she's like, does this happen all the time?

He's like, every morning. Yeah. That's the thing to wake up to. I mean, to me, it was like 24 seven.

They got stuff going on in this parade ground. Yeah, but anyway, so they open up and they're at Arlington and there's a dead navy lieutenant in his choker whites. They do call those jokers. Really?

Yeah, they actually do. Yeah. If you ask any navy guy, what's the uniform? It'll be like chokers.

Yeah, because it, you know, that Thai never actually seen that. It's a nice uniform. I mean, unless it's a spaghetti party, in which case, probably the last thing you'd want to wear. But anyway, yeah, this navy guy, Lieutenant Hardin, he's laying there dead, he's been stabbed to death in Arlington.

Harm and Meg approached the crime scene. It's already been taped off. Handy grave sounds there to use the crime scene tape to tie to. But anyway, they go to it and there's this horrible arrogant, I want to call him Lieutenant Abercrombie and Fitch because I did think he was kind of an attractive actor and I did sort of like how he- How about like Detective Hipser or something like that?

Well, my notes, I really never got his name was Axel Rad. So I had, I have written down Detective Ass Rad because I'm like, yes, what is his name? I don't know. I think he said it like one time.

He did. And I tried to get it. I tried to IMDB it to figure out who he was playing. But anyway, it doesn't really matter.

He doesn't, I don't know, he doesn't play a pivotal part of the episode. But he talks about how this is my crime scene and it's not on a military installation. So back off and it's so fake. But it was funny his arms like he kind of goes off on him about, yeah, okay, fine, it's your jurisdiction, but you guys don't solve anything ever.

And he's like, well, we're under and we're overworked. I mean, you can't expect this to actually get anything done. And Meg's like, you do realize there's been three navy lieutenant deaths in 11 months. This doesn't seem like a dangerous trend to you.

And he's like, do you realize there's a lot of navy in this town? And yeah, if you extrapolate the statistics on this death rate and the five mile radius, it is the Washington DC area. So unfortunately, there's more navy, I mean, this number fits exactly. We shouldn't be concerned about it.

As a matter of fact, I'm a little concerned that the death rate is too low for an navy lieutenant to point that it was horrible. It was just terrible. So they walk away from the scene and but that's not good enough for them. They're not just going to take no for an answer.

And they walk by the lowly gardener. Oh my god, the groundskeeper really, I mean, scenario. I mean, this guy's gonna be somehow pivotal. He's over there by his writing lawnmower.

And the arms like, oh, seal team six or whatever, because he sees his tattoo. I'm intricately familiar with the history of your unit. And the guy's like, I already told the detective over there that I didn't see anything. And so I didn't see anything.

And harm's like, oh, well, former seal, huh? And the guy's like, yeah, I lost a lot of brothers back there in NOM. And harm says, well, we just lost another one right over here on your yard. If you think of anything, and our man's in his card, give me a call.

Well, all right. So that ends that. It's a funny little thing with the groundskeeper. It's an odd exchange.

It was very scooby-dooish to me. Dude, the whole episode was scooby-doo. In fact, I thought it wasn't theirs. Good.

No, I would have preferred to watch the entire season pick a season of Scooby-Doo. Scooby-Doo. Scooby-snack. Oh man, where's the amusement park?

Is what I want to know. It wasn't for you damn kids. Where is Fred and Belma when you need them? No, who was Fred's girl?

They used to break off into their little groups. Shag and Scoob. Belma would usually be with Shag and Scoob. She was with Daphne.

Daphne, Daphne, Fred. Yeah, right. A lot of things happened there. Yeah.

Anyway, so what happens after we see the groundskeeper guy. So then they cut and now Harman Meg buzz off to the ambassador. Right. They need to question the ambassador and the ambassador's wife.

And also that Colonel Patano guy. Potato? Yes. Yes.

Patano, potato. The bald guy. He was a little bit creepy. Well, he was a chief of security.

I know. I know. As a security type person, security people are a bit creepy. I wouldn't say that.

I know. I don't think we are at all. Oh, yeah. I take great offense to that.

Oh. Well, I mean, maybe the chiefs of security. Those in charge of security personnel. They are not creepy.

They are great. They protect you and me. People like us. Anyway, so they go over to do this questioning.

And I thought it was kind of funny because they were trying to actually interview the wife of the Thai ambassador. And yet the Thai ambassador was doing all the talking. Like, you know, my wife went out. She apparently had gone home with this lieutenant who was dead in Arlington.

But she came right though. Home. She came right home. She didn't stop anywhere.

Nothing like that. They really don't get much out of it. But the fact that they think they are they kind of narrow it down to three suspects in the death of lieutenant harden and potentially these previous three lieutenants that have been killed or two, whatever it was. It was either going to be all right.

Josh. Fine. It was either going to be. It was either going to be the ambassador, the ambassador's wife, or the security guy for the ambassador, Colonel potato.

Yeah, potato. Yeah. Potano. Or it was going to be him.

So they had at least narrowed it down to that far. But the Thai wife was the last person to see him alive. And she actually, if I recall correctly, during the interview process, she said that if anything would have gone awry, the Colonel Potano follows her everywhere. So surely he would have seen something if she wouldn't have come straight home for the party.

Yeah. And he's not talking. So it's kind of we really don't get anywhere. Well, I mean, part of it also, I keep thinking to myself, okay, you got three dead guys, maybe the fourth dead guy of counts as number four.

So there's no evidence of any kind. Well, there's a knife. Well, they didn't really have a knife. But I mean, no forensics, no footprints.

They're in there's nothing. We're not having all the cars that we said it's we're supposedly driving to Arlington. What happened to all this stuff? Where did all go?

All we have is these dead bodies and apparently every single other piece and facet of these killings completely disappeared. Well, yeah, exactly. I don't really think of that through that far. I know, I know.

I know. That's why I care. Those that's not enough screen. I don't think about that.

Like, that's not true. I don't even understand. Well, I know that's fine. No, I mean, I do.

But I know that's not supposed to think about the things that are happening off camera. Well, you're supposed to kind of not really canon. I know how this works. CSI.

I know. It's a good thing we're not doing a podcast matter of every episode. I was like, you know what, when did DNA stuff start happening? Because surely this lady had such long hair, surely.

I mean, one piece of hair fell somewhere. I thought she was quite a beautiful lady. Well, she definitely was. But yeah, she should have looked at it somewhere.

I looked it up and I was like, when did they start using DNA? It was the first time that was used in 1986. Nine years before the death of the city. Successfully in court.

Yeah, in court. So really? I wouldn't have guessed. I know.

I know. I know. I really wouldn't have. I would have thought, I don't know early 90s.

Yeah. Well, I'm here to provide, you know, this. Did you get that off Wikipedia? Because I I'm not sure I believe it.

No, I did. I did actually some actually strenuous legal research in my off time to kind of get my off time. You know, I didn't think you were currently working. Well, that's why I have some off time.

That's great. You know, I'm really glad you use your off time. I do. I do.

I do. I do. I use my off time. So 1986.

Okay. Okay. And I've educated myself, yourself, and the listener. Well, they must have tried to run DNA and perhaps they didn't even mention it.

That's what's kind of crazy. Maybe it was a foreground conclusion that they would have ran those tests. Josh, I'm just I'm just saying this is kind of where things don't really work. The whole episode was where things don't really work.

I got it. I was so sad because we had come just off of a great episode, 29 Palm's episode. I really liked it. You know, I gave it an 8.3.

That came from the heart. It wasn't. But I really thought the show and I think I argued it pretty well last week that I thought the show had really sort of turned over a new leaf that it had. You said it was like a graduation episode.

No, I think you really went back to third grade on this. It did. I mean, the reason why is they lost all the mojo. They didn't have all the good actors and actresses.

The plot was terrible. The plot was tough. It was hard to follow. The dialogue was difficult.

It was a little bit hard to follow. My notes proved that. It was kind of all over the place. I mean, it wasn't hard to follow.

It was just it was boring. It was hard to stick with. It was really boring. Yeah, I thought the commercials were more interesting than the show.

Yeah, yeah. And there weren't even commercials either. I had to imagine the commercials just to get myself excited to think about. There was no better.

It was so awful. I'll train wreck of an episode. Anyway, all right. So if I think I'm back to Jage Q.

I go back and who's playing? Hold on, hold on. But again, another difference between now and later. Jage Q is like not where it's not in Falls, Church, Virginia, where it always is on every episode.

Yeah, because the office is the same. Yeah, the office is the same. But the location is not where it normally will be later on. So I don't want you to do a spoiler alert, but I sort of do.

Because I need to know when Admiral Cheggwig comes along to save the day, to save the show. Yeah, I don't exactly remember. But I don't think it was the first season. Please tell me I can't remember.

I adore that. To use a overused legal phrase, I do not recall. I thought you watched this whole series. I did, but it's been a while.

No, you just wrapped it up, dude. Well, I mean, if I had more off time, all of your time is off time. All of your time. Well, I mean, there's off time.

Anyway, horrible. So we end up in what will soon be Admiral Cheggwig's office. But it's not now. In fact, the Admiral that we had seen, I think in the first episode, we don't have him anymore.

He didn't last long. Probably good thing because he was terrible. But unfortunately, we got worse because guess who's sitting in the command seat at Jage, none other than Commander Lindsey, crazy psycho freaky guy who's crazy psycho freaky when he's doing lawyer things, but he wasn't even doing lawyer things. No, and they're playing the clarinet.

Every single scene they pan into this guy. He's trying to work on this clarinet, which is why, again, I think Jage is like, as a series is like, I don't know where we're going. They're just trying to like kind of be serious with some funny stuff. But it wasn't funny.

I know. I didn't laugh. I didn't laugh. As a matter of fact, I thought it was just it was an embarrassment to the military.

Like really, we have officers that honestly, a commander is going to sit there and it's going to ask him to play a clarinet. Especially when you see how busy in future episodes, Admiral Cheggwig went in and he's just that busy. There's no way you're going to be sitting there playing a clarinet. No, it was just unprofessional.

And it just wouldn't happen. It did not. It was no reflection of military, military commanders, military. Like nobody brings their instrument to work.

It's absurd. And it was dumb. Anyway, he should have been in the deleted scenes, but it didn't. Fortunately, it was in the scene scenes.

Yeah, it was horrible. And so Harman Meg report in, and they're so stuffy. I don't even know why they report in the saloons. And he's like, biddies.

They're very surish. But that kind of continues. That's how it really is. But you know what?

The thing is, this is the thing is the reason why it came off wrong in this episode is Lindsey doesn't command any kind of respect whatsoever. And really, well, he doesn't know anything. But you get to like the future Admiral, future leader of JAG, and he commands that kind of respect. So it seems like it makes sense that the characters would be like a little bit more formal with this guy.

Well, that's true. But I feel like if you work with people every day in an office, and the JAG office is not a big office, it never is throughout the series. There's not that many workers there. And you have an Admiral that's in charge, and that's certainly a respectable position and should have respect shown to it.

But I mean, people in real life are not going to go report in to their commanding officer every time they want to tell him something about a case, right? Well, I mean, in a perfect world, probably. No, but we're far from a perfect world. The man was just playing his clarinet behind his desk.

I mean, it's not a perfect world. Well, I mean, if he played the clarinet well, it was not it was horrible. So harm goes in there and talks about the case about what they're working on and where they want to go with this thing. And and harm says something stupid about a smoking gun.

And oh, no, yeah, harm it with. Oh, yeah, he does. And Lindsey goes out commander, can you stay, can you stay behind? So harm turns around, he's like, yes, sir.

And he goes, I thought you said something there about a smoking gun. And I thought the Navy Lieutenant harden, I believe you said he was stabbed earlier. And harm looks at him like you're the biggest idiot in the entire world. But he's very professional.

And he says, well, sir, what I was just being facetious kind of thing. Yeah, I was terrible. Just a bad scene made way scene made way. It was really hard.

So we get out of there and you get the feeling that, you know, harm's going to do whatever he wants. Anyway, he doesn't care what commander Lindsey says and he doesn't care about whatever lines commander Lindsey would draw for him because he's just going to solve this thing on his own. And in a way, I think he makes this kind of personal through the whole episode because he sees the Thailand ambassador's wife as as a present day version of the girl that he was in love with all those years ago. Yeah, maybe.

Did you even hear what I said? Well, you said something about that. You're just drifting on. I was thinking about the next scene where she hops into the vet in the parking garage.

Where's a parking garage? Well, outside of their personal there. I think that's where Jack is supposed to be in this particular episode is in the Pentagon. Okay, well, in that case, I guess I guess I guess there's an idea when you go to the parking garage.

Yeah, this was a time ago. Yeah, she hops in the car. She does. And she's like, by the way, and he's kind of surprised like what are you doing in my car?

Yeah, but there she is. Yeah, but there she is. And yeah, she's like, well, I happen to be counting the knives in our kitchen. And I noticed that we were one knife short.

So, you know, it's just the thing. I mean, this is fairly realistic because I found myself counting knives in my kitchen just the other day after a murder because I heard, you know, a dog got stabbed, like my knife. Yeah, I should really check to see because that butter knife description on the radio, I know I have some of those. And mine often disappears.

Yes. It's a froggy little thing. Interesting. So she's like, yeah, harm.

Hey, check this out. And she whips out the blade. And she's like, this is just like the one that was used in the murder. Exactly like it.

Which seems weird. I mean, how would she know? Yeah, well, she really wouldn't know. Yeah.

Unless she was there, which she said she wasn't. Maybe has some material knowledge being interviewed and all that kind of stuff. Well, I didn't give anything away. And she certainly didn't help them with the interview process.

Well, nonetheless. So we don't really get anywhere. I think I think harm says something in that scene, you know, there's really three suspects and you're actually one of them. And I think that really offends her because she's out of the car and she's upset.

I think the whole thing is, she is trying to use the fact that she's bringing this. Yeah, I'm helping you. Like I'm helping you. So it's not me and harm.

At the end of it, all is still like, I still think it could be you. So that pisses her off. Yeah. And she's like, I brought you the dog on murder weapon.

Man, I'm not the why would I do that if I was guilty. So so screw you in the horse you ran in on and and that's the end of that scene. Yeah. After that, well, at the end of that scene, as she's walking away, we have another flash to black and white and he sees the old girl in Vietnam again.

And I can't. It's like the number of ways she gets she gets killed because they seem to get a little bit bit worse each time. The bloodie was the blood was on the last on the last scene with the so it's a black and white flashback and the girl we know she should get shot and she's killed, but it does get more and more graphic and the last scene the show of her in this flashback, there's this huge goopy like worst gravy ever blood that's just pouring down from her face. I kind of like is blood really?

I think it's really that goopy. Not. Yeah, probably. I don't know.

I didn't know. Not other special effects blood. I just know. I didn't buy it.

It just kind of grows to me. But anyway, it just shows in that scene is the time master's wife is walking away in the parking garage and we flash back again to Vietnam that this woman really has harm. I mean, he's really enamored with her. Right?

No, even the one that got killed. No, I mean, how he trans, trans, trans, again, he's triggered by her. He is. I don't think he really cares for her that much, honestly, but no, that connection that connection between I kind of think he does.

I don't know. Dude, he kissed her. Well, yeah, but that's it. That's it.

Yeah, but it was a nice kiss. Yeah, but that's it. It was a nice kiss and she's a married woman. He crossed the line and made reminded him of that.

She certainly did. Remind him of that. So, by the way, her name is Angelique Censiri. Yeah, like we haven't really said even what the guy and master's wife's name is.

It really doesn't matter. We're just trying to get through the episode. Okay, it was tough. It was really hard.

It was really hard. So, what happens then? We do the I'm trying to get caught up here in my notes. We do the car scene there in the garage to be an on-play track and she walks away.

Then we're back in Commander Lindsey's office now. Oh, great. That was my good. That was my good.

When Meg goes into the opposition. That's cool. I thought the scenes with Commander Lindsey were. Those were my, you know.

Absolute favorite. Dude, they were so bad. Like the whole episode, it's hard to even recall because it was so terrible. I mean, really these were just tedious.

I know it's just other words. I think because I fell asleep in parts of it. Yeah. Anyway, but the next scene is we're back in Commander Lindsey's office and here's Meg with this requisition form for all the spy equipment and heavy-knobenoculars and a listening device and just a black jumpsuit.

And so Commander Lindsey's reviewing this and really the first time that he says anything intelligent at all. He's like, well, what do you need this stuff for? And she says, well, I can't tell you because then you wouldn't have plausible deniability and he's like, okay, that's nice. Oh, well, that's great.

Sir, thanks. Thanks for signing off on all that stuff. Oh my God. I'm so bad.

But anyway, he signs off on it. So the other thing is he's an oh five. Yeah, he's five quote unquote filling in for an admiral for the entire Jack core. But it is.

He does make a point to say it's temporary. They have no oh sixes that could fill this temporary position. Just ridiculous. Well, you know, lawyers are specialized.

Well, you know, I don't know if they're that special. Well, he's not, he's not, but he does sign the requisition form. And it amazes me like they just have to spice up on hand like yeah, take this requisition form down the supply. Right, right.

Just pick up the stuff for harm. It's ridiculous. But but that's Jack for you. So the next scene is, harm is calling Old Meg and I always call her Old Meg.

I gotta get away from that because she's actually pretty cute. But she she's kind of putting herself in this very tight red dress. You remember the scene and it's a little cheesy. I do remember it.

Because harm was like, is it a red dress? Was it red? I wasn't really painting that much. It was red.

It was she looked really good. And it was really cute. So if you can imagine, Meg is getting ready to go out on some kind of a date. Harm is getting ready to go.

He's going to go out the tie ambassador's house because there's obviously something awry and legally he can't do anything. So he's got to go spy. So he's got his black jumpsuit on and some kind of I don't know what it would look like a camcorder but it was some sort of listening device. He's got his little binoculars and he's traipsing around the fence line of the tie ambassador's house.

And he can somehow hear multiple conversations, not just the ones outside of the house but the ones inside of the house. Anyway, it doesn't matter. He determines that the tie ambassador is having an affair with the Alice. Which doesn't matter.

It really doesn't. It doesn't. It doesn't matter. But anyway.

And he laughs at it though. Which is kind of interesting. He does. He does.

He does. He does. He's kind of sick. This is kind of funny.

Or he realized that it was just cheesy. Yeah. Like David James Elliott's thinking really, we have just. Like really we have got to get better team.

We got to get some of the people. Or we are not going to make a second season. I really don't know how. I don't know how the show survived the first season.

Yeah. It's episodes like this. You have to tell me that it gets better. You've seen.

Yeah. Well, you know it gets better. Well, but not the season. I think I hopped on the Jag train until we were maybe five seasons in.

Yeah. Yeah. I know. I think I was a late bloomer with Jack as well.

I really was. Thankfully, because I wouldn't have thought that if I would have joined in on the first season. It was I don't know. It's terrible.

Terrible. Anyway, Meg on the other hand is in her pretty little red dress. And she you know, she can wear it. I mean, flotted if he got it and she did.

She looks super cute. She goes to have dinner with none other than Detective Asrag or whatever. And he friendly get go. He knows that she's trying to get his file on the murder of Lieutenant Hardin.

And well, and again, why would he be in a bar with all these open files? You know, it's like, you know, it's like, it's really hard. Come on. You look like he was in a library with a bunch of files open.

He had one file and it was closed. The thing was, Meg is is pretty much pouring herself out to him. That sport. Because she really was.

And he's like, you know, you couldn't be more obvious. What you're trying to do here. He's like, I would have given you the file. Anyway, I mean, you didn't have to do all that.

But here's my number. And this is really the scene because I hated him in the first scene. I thought he was a jerk. But in this scene, after he completely figured her out, like I said, I liked how he was like, you know, you don't need to do all this.

You look great in your dress. You're a pretty girl. Here's the file you wanted. And here's my number.

So give me a ring if you ever want to. And I hope you do. And she always looked disappointed. Like, oh, he figured me out, really?

Yeah, she looked a little peo. You think he really thought that you were legitimately wanting to just get to know him better? I mean, it was just like, let's see how how strong I can come on to this guy and see if I can pull it over him. And he's like, I ain't having to do it.

She didn't even get to do any flirt. He basically was like, shut her down right away. Just was like, Hey, I already got all figured out. So here's the file.

It's not hard to figure it out, though. I mean, she was just in the book, dude. It was poorly played by her. Very poorly.

At the end of the day, she got what she wanted. She got the file. He willingly handed it over to her. I'm not so sure that that file really mattered either.

I don't know what she got out of it. I can't call it. Anyway, it was a nice scene. It was cute between the two.

Harm in the meantime, crawling about in the bush outside of the ham ambassador's house. And he runs in a Colonel potato potato potato. You know, I could kill you right here. If I wanted to, but I won't.

And harm says something that indicates that or basically implies that this Colonel probably committed these murders. And that scene too just lands flat. What is the point? They both just kind of walk away, flip each other off and go their own way.

It's done. Like all these scenes get us nowhere. It's just filler. It's frustrating because it's like, I'm dying here as a viewer.

I'm literally. To a Marine Corps. Let's stick in my eye. It's so horrible.

And I really think the next thing was the flash to the Marine Corps prayed down harm street. Yeah, we were back at I think harm's house. Again, I think we were. We see the Navy or the Marine guys flipping the rifles.

They're in the rifles and I think for a minute, you know, that's that's cool. I mean, who doesn't like the Marines with the rifles? It's cool. It's a good recruiting thing.

They're bad ass. But again, has nothing to do with the episode. Nothing in the band. Nothing.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. So I don't even know what am I missing, dude? So they come to the room and I think this is where they start getting shot at. No, because remember harm has that kind of scene with the with the ambassador's wife?

I mean, just it's just just just terrible. She comes over to his house. She comes over to his apartment. I don't know why, but she's hit in the face and oh, feel sorry for me.

You know, my husband is so bad and and Colonel potatoes terrible. And I think I'm just gonna stay in the United States or something. I want to run away from everything and I'm like, where are you gonna go? What are you gonna do?

And she I don't know, poor pitiful me. I don't know. And he pours. This is what I really don't get.

Harm knows she's a married woman. Yes, he's attracted to her because he he just what did you say? She's transfixed on her. She triggers him.

She triggers him. So there's something there and she sits down and he's got nice jazz playing and he pours them both a glass of wine. And it's like it's like who laid? I mean, I drink red wine.

Well, on occasion. Anyway, it's dark and it's not it's certainly not see through. So it's like cheesy wine and they kind of get close and he kisses Oh, it could have been that Zinfandel that see through like redish. Yeah, but I don't know.

That's a terrible wine choice for a day. That's what it could have been. Zinfandel. Maybe harm doesn't drink wine that often and he just thought they just happen to have that ball in the fridge because he doesn't.

Yeah, I don't know. Anyway, so he so they kiss and then they both realize that that they shouldn't be doing that and and harm's like, well, you can sit here tonight. I'll sleep on the couch and again, the scene lands flat but as you pan out from his apartment, who is watching from the from the street at the silhouette of harm and Miss uh, since sorry, since on Siri, but Colonel Potato, he's in the parking lot watching this creepy guy. Yeah, he is smoking his little uh, oh, the cigarettes that teenagers smoke because they don't have the colonies to smoke the real thing.

I don't swizzer sticks swizzle sticks. Maybe he was vaping. He wasn't. Do they have any invented vaping?
