In a dominant performance, No. 3 UConn defeated New Hampshire 92-53, with Alex Karaban leading the way. Karaban, the Huskies’ only returning starter, scored 17 points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out four assists, and blocked four shots. He played a pivotal role in building UConn’s 35-24 halftime lead, then hit two early second-half 3-pointers to widen the gap. Supporting Karaban, Solo Ball contributed 14 points, Tarris Reed Jr. added 11 points and seven rebounds, and Liam McNeeley posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
