It's like well, we might as well get microphones on We might as well so we're only gonna go through the two title fights all the advice if you did watch it last night You can kind of agree kind of went the way you thought that we're gonna go from Don young Kim getting the most It's for me controversial decision of the year as far as UFC goes It was ridiculous like against having stuff in something obviously one the judges. Oh, yeah I do know this the judges didn't didn't have a clue what was going on The other clue was going on one judge gave it 3027 to suffered in and then the two 29 28 Kim I think which was daft I mean Rogan said on the actual broadcast like how the judge is gonna see it You know Kim's just plotting forward he was just put me forward We became hit as well.
So strange strange over than that a coal main event was garbrand versus Cruz Yes, this is what you were asleep. I was really looking forward to this as well It was working leading up to this I'd been quite vocally against garbrand because he just seemed like like Cruz was saying like a bit of me Yeah, he didn't really have a Very Like The thing that is though like we watch the MMA our most of you probably do we're in CFC with a while He's got the you know like a star's been born from this which I do kind of agree with but like he's got the gift of the Gavin I think he has I think he's just He's just a me I didn't know you bought yeah, so coming into it very pro Cruz hence why I bet for Cruz Oh, no, no, I only got wrong. Oh, that's such a shame. Well, I mean I would have done the same though Yeah, yeah, I'll be gone for Cruz every day because he's been the best on the weight ever Yeah, yeah, he's so enjoyable to watch and he's just so fight such a bizarre way Yeah, but it's tough to think I think that's the thing because he seems to fight quite intelligently I thought Galbra was so stupid that he just wouldn't have You know the nows to be able to adapt himself to a fighter like that That's where I thought it was gonna be really mismatched.
Yeah, especially because every other person from that camp plays in is full and short Yeah against it So it was a big shock to make massive shock any any it was a crazy performance the whole drop in him and then point nine miles on the Floor can I ask some questions about it because I didn't watch it. Yeah, it's that you just having to like So what point did you or did you know that Cruz lost it? I think I think probably round three round three is when he started properly dropping him before and it was quite close So rounds one and two I personally would have still given to To go run, but they were a lot closer so they could have gone either way Round three is when he started dropping him and started talking to him and all that sort of stuff Well, you know, Cruz's now the out points. Yeah, it's not gonna point it you think going into this like it always It's a bit like the linnaker C.
J. Tell us all about like little because all the chance was to knock him out and because C. J. Just wanted them Just talking down with crazy speed with the takedowns and just now pointing them the whole time You know, you did have a chance in that so that that when how I thought Guard on Cruz is gonna go for it was like watching Connor Like in his in his earlier fights.
He's like, oh my god. This is a and you know, he's been knocking out everybody So it's turn no no time. No, I don't know. No, you know, I don't know why everybody was riding a muscle bunch in hindsight But I was one of them.
I know well, I feel a bit stupid now, but I think that's I think it just come down to his persona He's so thick. Yeah, it's just so and that sounds horrendous because obviously don't have like brains of America Yeah, you have to fight it But I think it's because it was because of the style of fighter of Cruz is so kind of like it's quite What's the word it's psychological? Yeah, it's quite psychological fighters. I thought this guy's not really got much Chants.
Yeah, I thought he was just gonna kind of like Cruz is just gonna kind of like dancing and avoid shots and just confuse him And then you know, I'll point him but yeah, just shows we didn't polite in there as well when he was when Cruz was getting caught He thought like he was getting angry going after him and that's when I said So he kind of lights all the trash talking like Cruz's done like Cruz Cruz won to me Wasn't the psychological battle before even going there but maybe in that situation and again, this has been overly harsh I think I'm coding but maybe not having the smarts not having the intelligence to rise to that in this instance worked in his favor But there's nothing about the performance. I could say that he's an unintelligent fighter who's getting out the way He was moving his feet really well. He was cutting the ring off where Cruz is very good at getting out and avoiding them shots It was a super smart fight and he didn't overload as well. There's only one moment I think and Rogan point out as well where he was he was getting a bit carried away Yeah, that's what he dropped in one time and Cruz looked like to me all the way he hit the floor And instead of jumping in and trying to finish it Gavin stood over in the point But in but that second was like a split second and then Cruz was back on his feet He's like wow, how did he record from that but amazing performance and the whole thing with that kid as well He'll keep giving the balance and I'm gonna go buy a plastic one, you know, and he's giving him that bell and it's incredible It's great and it does really it sets him up now because he I mean as much as a crowd was sort of going back and forth Like Cody chance with our list.
Yeah, so he shows you, you know, he's got the look you knock people out I think he just needs he needs to tweak his Is out of the octagon persona, but if he does that and just thinks about what he's saying rather than just because that that painful back And so funny, but I can't remember what he said. No, I can't it was it was unintelligible like Cruz like what are you talking about? What are you talking about? Oh my god?
He's like crap. He came across as like the school bully. Yeah, yeah Yeah, as you change your opinion of it now, you can say that you Yeah, totally I'm completely been proven wrong by this on a lot of counts like it's a Billy I don't think anybody could question this ability, you know, you know, it's just people in the ghost sleep But Cruz didn't get knocked out when he got dropped several times, so that was amazing. I think my Opinion of both of them have gone up a lot.
Yeah, the screws is like one of these fires I'm not particularly bothered about no, he's not a massive draw like the Bunsen white divisions Not the massive draw the reason why it's because they all point each other nobody goes to the finish really Unless it's a submission or something like that He's like unbeaten though for like Cruz for 10 years 2007 was his last last night was to your IFA But you see unbelievable what I mean, you think you'll carry on. Oh, yeah, so the reason why I think you'll carry on and we'll get to How you take a loss a little bit later on as well? But the press conference for Cruz was fantastic I heard snippets of it where he was talking and he was saying like obviously I'm disappointed I did this and he was so like clinical about it But not in a really wasn't detached. He was you could tell he was disappointed It's sort of weirdly enough because I've heard him talk quite a few times That's the most fired up.
I've heard him. Yeah on a loss I think it's it can make our break here. I think it's really made him to go right. Okay.
Well, I know what I did wrong Yeah, exactly what I did wrong. I'm quite admirable really to hold you know, it's not being asked Oh, totally he showed how you act when you lose when you lose like if this is your life Is this is what you want to do with it? And that's exactly how you act. Yeah, you reckon the rematch them It's tough to it's tough to not give to your little show that shot now because he's because he has knocked off the number two Contendo in his last two fights.
I'm not fun of him. No, I'm not fun of his style of fighting for some reason Why I just don't find him enjoyable to watch no is What do you say when you like knocking out a hen and brown and that was good? I just think he's another but again, you know, I could prove it's all wrong. Oh, we'll see.
Yeah, he's a personalityless Yeah, at least we could you like me. I was calling him thick and all that sort of code He's got personally, you know, and he's doing all the right things He's obviously trying to kind of a Gregor himself by wearing the wearing the sleeves like the old do Yes, and I think that he could be the next one depending on what he says next You could be the next one he could be like a you know, a big I think he could be a big star for it It would be all depends on how how he how was next few fights go if he's knocking out the next few people and he's just You know running the show then he could be huge. They must have started because he's always 25 That's crazy isn't it so many years. Yeah, 25 is a champion.
He's got at least 10 years of his career left Easily and he could headline a pay-per-view. So this is the thing like when you look at the banter weights of Also, it's like your eye-favour dominant cruise. That's really you're only to see they'll sure came in In the last couple years, but for the last 10 years, it's all been them to really Kind of dominated it Supposed to be you see goes put the never made event it or they've always been the co-main event. Yeah, there's never been one That's been the main event.
So I kind of Demetrius Johnson using the you know, it's 115 Never gets made of because no one cares. Yeah, the reason why no one cares is because he doesn't say anything and he just He puts on a good performance, but it's not good enough. I'm just knocking people out or just choking them out or out pointing them especially It's not enough to to get you get you that song get you the big money But I think I'm right now. That is next fight.
We'll probably headline you. Yeah Just the way I turn that whole thing with the kid and give him the bell You know, it's a great story the right officer been so complimentary about that fight because I read a lot of write-ups today given what happened in the main event and Yeah, it's just been it's almost like You know the Talk about was was quite disappointing for some whereas that fight was like very You know the people who complain about spending money on pay people but the money's worth from That's I said it before today, but that's my pet peeve with with these guys who say like a sort of you got reading that celebrity season Why I was probably doing that. They were all wasted time But somebody said like oh for the money I paid for this 48 seconds. I probably should have bought porn instead It's like you know, I know it's a joke That's right the turnover joke, but the whole show's three hours if you don't want to watch every other fight Then you're out of your mind.
Yeah completely out your mind So I'm gonna clarify it last night at tremendous knockouts on them like tremendous over right knockouts I like so leviate did that spinning back kick to the guy's face and nearly talking about Do you mean if you if that was you thought was Rowsey if Rowsey had spinning back kicks and units and not tomorrow then The internet would have been exploded just because she's in the main event. I mean she's doing that right don't get me wrong Yeah, but you know on the undercard fights this crazy finishes and great scraps and you know Yeah, I just don't get it. So shall we move on to the main then yeah, yeah, so I was awake for this You were a walk you want to this one? Yeah, I missed out I want really wants to see the entrances though because I do quite enjoy that I know you're not mad fan of watching the entrance, but I love watching them I just think they're so excited.
I get really nervous for them. Yeah, like really frightened for him and then 48 seconds Ronda Rousey got absolutely destroyed. It's easy. It's easy for us to say that's exactly what we said was gonna happen It was exactly what was gonna happen.
It's exactly what we said. Yeah, there wasn't even we never even had a conversation about where else you want Yeah, never never never and it was never gonna be a fight that won the distance. We said she's gonna get absolutely destroyed Yeah, by noon as she's gonna get destroyed because she because noon is like It's strong like it's just she just hits really she hits like a fighter Yeah, and and her comments about like think she's a boxer in all this like hilarious Yeah, it's weird because if Rousey had gone in there and tried to use the judo Like she was panicking too after she got hit a few times trying to grab her and it was So there's so much there's so much in the lead up to this that I think Was awful. It's like where do you start?
It's written It's well, I I didn't run down for you last night when I said that I was disappointed I was disappointed on so many different occasions with this fight the first being that she was going straight Rousey was going straight for the title and I thought I don't think that's fair because she's coming up back up for locks So I think she should have gone against like you said about even the Holy Home again Because that would have been a huge fight. We'll just be massive. Yeah, definitely I think they say Holly home's going for a different way like a new weight class title. Yeah, yeah So that was a kind of annoyed that I actually popped up on stage at the New York The unofficial kind of show way yeah, she'll wait Just came on stage like re-round of the other speak and we'll get on to that right now So the deal being for this fight that she was doing no media obligations as I actually have not so no press conference The press whole press conference didn't happen huge mistake didn't happen and you've got all the fights on it I mean noon is like should we just remind everyone she's got the belt and she's the champion and yeah, you know I knew there's such a long way your journey for you I see crazy she lost to people who Rousey beat in like a second You know, she's she's had a couple losses to some really easy people and she's really like risen through the ranks and she's absolutely amazing But obviously she's not on the rounds.
She's not an expendable three. She's not an Allen She's not an impcheting on a magazine cover. So no one cares But so like the media obligations thing was the final nail in the coffin for me being really pissed off at this You're a massive fun about like I was as well like huge fun of round around I loved Rousey and now I'm just I can't buy the woman because at the very least I mean we talk about Conor Grego You know, he got bumped off a card because he didn't do media appearance and you know, you might be right It might be Dana white learning his lesson and going I don't want to do that again To be honest I think that's me giving Dana a bit more credit than he deserves because I mean the embeddings like something that Rowsy was in he's coming up to her he's talking his kiss around cheeks as he loves you and all of you he said that So what she's just what's a strange scenario and yeah, you got you know, you gotta give your stars preferential treatment To give him credit to give me more credit than he probably deserves my first thought on the whole she's not doing any media Anything like that is he learned from the conno situation and UFC 200 was the biggest They've done. Yeah, huge huge like blunder with all the whole Brock Lesnar thing John Jones And so you could it is if I was here now come outside that I'd be like look we have this thing Connor kind of got pulled We all know I'll see 200 well, it's now Brawlers against my con is now no contest.
It's not a win for Brock anymore, which is Should be should be the way it is of course just not say that way. Yeah, definitely But you know that giving him giving him credit that could be what it is. It's like right. I've got me over star I'm not gonna mess this up.
I'm gonna mess this return up She can just concentrate on winning and then if she wins She'd want to then come out and start there on that press conference with the belt around I think the media were a tourist for Yes, I still don't think she would come out You know, I just don't think she would have spoke to media at all because like you said the what they were straight away First thing grass where you been what happened? Yeah, why? And she can't she doesn't want to answer that question. That's the only reason she's not she don't want to be answerable to the fact But she spat dummy out and talked for 30 months and didn't did not take 30 months out to focus on fighting I'm obviously not and you know, I can't I eventually did kind of see the article I was looking at where it was the audio from her coach who's got an absolutely roasted throughout this So I've seen that and I thought what did he say then?
What was the pretty much nothing? He was just going no, no, really? Yeah, it was just and then he was like I think he said at one point like the only helpful thing He said to her was trying to get out of it whole trying whatever Word and then he just kind of going no It's like all that's helpful and so that's what you want to hear from you corner and just shouting no, yeah in In his defense though I mean, it's not like a normal cornerman that guy and it loads of people said she should join it My thing for her like is she needs to join a team like a big team like like you American top teams or you know One of those big teams where the old ports You know, they had like How long did the avatar to put a game plan together and a game plan was to go in there and strike with her? Like it is thick But I mean it's unfair for this guy because you know, he was one of the best coaches in the game when she was winning Of course, yeah, and then now she's not winning But it's for him like that's his meal ticket as well like and he's just saw his biggest star getting knocked out in 38 Seconds when he's got like Travis Brown on his books as well, and he's just getting leveled Yeah, he's losing Stokes off what it's like anything It's like when you when you're up you're up like you kind of started losing yeah I can't even would just be called like a nothing coach as well, of course, yeah, but because Conor McGregor's Conor Gregor that coaches considered the best coach around them I mean, you know, it's swings around about like I don't think it's particularly his fault But the problem I see with her is her mentality seems to be when it gets tough Then she went yeah, when it was easy and she was like breaking people bitches arms and all this sort of stuff when it was easy She's on top of the game like wanting to do all the media or everything under the sun and all this sort of stuff As soon as she's slightly in trouble slightly in trouble.
It's finished. I know and that first shot that she talked She just completely was like just crud just folded completely folded. I thought well She might not do that this time because she's been in there with holy home now. Yeah, she knows what it's like She knows what it's like she's been there before but she obviously didn't and it was a kind of a thing like we can't physically Understand the amount of pressure that she probably ever on the shoulders from herself and from everybody around her Because I see like her camp has been like horrific.
Yes, man I think that's the point of the criticism that's come out about as only was yeah I think it's come out that they've done nothing for her the kindest thing to have done is to have been tough with it and said I'm forced to be rewatching Holly home fine going right you can't you go and get me You can't do this you can't stand up with her you can have to find a way to avoid some shots and just get it and take it down You can't you've not got the strength. You're not the ability to say that's a run the Rousey well any coach That's any good to me, but you would have thought that this guy is Edmund would be able to say that because he's been with The fuck you know obviously not obviously not I mean you never know They probably watched that home fight again. Yeah, it's just it's tough to know that she or it's tough to think she has when she reacted So badly and won't speak to anyone and you think by not facing up to the media and you're not facing up to your own You know, I mean like what else you're not facing up to yeah, I see turn a blind eye to yeah And it's tough to you know people are gonna speculate like this as well because she's not saying anything exactly the first time we do say She goes on the chat show so she was thinking about killing herself like come on Which is absolutely I mean day Did you see the article day in white of say after he spoke? He spent 40 minutes with her after the loss tonight.

I can't I really poor show though that as the position he's in in the UFC I find it really poor show of oh, yeah, I've spent last 40 minutes with her It's like as your role you shouldn't be doing that No, or if you are don't say you're doing it Don't say you spending because because he's never what you reckon he spent 40 minutes with Conor Gregory when he lost You don't need to spend 40 minutes with Conor McGregor But but that showed you so what the two the two people that you got respect more than anybody is Conor McGregor and Dominic The way they both came out after I lost and said, you know, it is what it is. I'm gonna get after again We're gonna do it again. Yeah, I'm not going anywhere That's how you act and Rousey should have been back in there within Probably six months.
She would have a medical suspension for about five six months. Yeah, she was cleanly knocked out But she should have been back in there and she should have been fighting somebody that was maybe ranked number three four She would have been even bigger if she would have come back and been really Kind of gracious back and well, no one keeps me down. You know, like this is just one little blip I was gonna lose one day. I was hoping it wasn't me today and I was gonna come back and be stronger She would be like the biggest super sound in the whole year Massive if she did only last night if she'd have come out and said look like my last two fights are face monsters But I'm not giving up.
There's a thing is around it is so many people look up to her for a reason that I cannot understand I know because but even before she had this bratish quality. Yeah, but people look up to her She said she had some great one line as though they do not in bitch line. That's gone like this members across Yeah, I mean, she's she what when she does talk she said some really can she just fits the words out She says things with such venom about other people that like this instant t-shirt slogan material Yeah, I think that's probably why people just thought Yeah, totally that was a thing she was about and like when when that gets stripped of you You've only got a few things to go. I mean for me now You know if she'd come out and said I got lost I'm gonna get back at it You're gonna see me again soon.
Don't you worry about that and all the kids that I'd probably stayed up to watch it Oh, yeah, because they were on the Rousey probably gone. Oh, fine. Yeah, that's fine. If you don't have to go into me I just want guys sometimes don't go away.

Yeah, absolutely battered by somebody who's now to be quite good, but Mental that was another thing Dana Dana white said after he spent his 40 minutes with his misses after she lost He was just emphasizing the fact of she's the one who's got women into the UFC She's the one apparently she asked him to get women into the USA and persuaded him Yeah, which is like that's that's him sort of say I think you know She's not gonna come back That's him trying to like this is an impossible situation for him as well He should have to come out and say this you should have to come out and try and protect her That's exactly what that is. He's coming out and saying look this woman got women's MMA onto the next level Which is pretty true. It's true.
She did but the women's MMA in stripores or on she was a striper's champion It was women's MMA. It was just wasn't in the upset if she would have come out on loss and said I don't know what I'm gonna do next and remind everyone like it's because of me you see women here. Yeah She would have said that I mean She said like I'm so proud that women are getting the opportunity Yeah Not the fight her saying her saying that yeah would have been you had like not the sight of her face on the other side of this face Yeah, not out yeah, because that's what it is like this is about new notes like she was training for Rowsy That's that's the difference. That's when you get people like John Jones coming up because they are training for this person Yeah, because it's the biggest that you know that's the way it is so she was never gonna stay at the top But it's the whole spit the dummy out of things.
She's I think she's she screwed it big time. Yeah, I do too I really really do a really think I think it's been it's been good though one respect because although newness said Oh, you know, it didn't bother me not doing all these media things I think the true feelings really good to come out. I think that's what I'm going to see you guys get Yeah, because she's such a nice kind of polite. Yeah, it's all Great that was a good thing that came out of it.
It brought more of a personality out So she might get some new funds for that. That's less finish it with newness and like Obviously that post right press conference thing to still be reserved in that one But if the after fight interview, so that new one's gonna be out of it. Yeah, you know I knew this was gonna happen, you know forget about her let her go off and do a film Yeah loads of money. Yeah loads of money.

Totally you need to say and like they don't do enough with it Or she's the first openly gay you have to champion Like why isn't that I think I know why she not like she's the only one who mentions that yeah, yeah, yeah It's crazy. I'm not gonna have to talk but like I think that if Rousey sort of confirmed she's not coming back I think we should take a comeback.
Yeah, the picture of a winner's last night the selfie where she's just buzzing absolutely over the moon Yeah, I'll open smile. I think she'll come back. We should say yeah Don't think she'll do anything because I don't think she's you know, I think there's better people kind of I think she will I think she'll come and have another if you know Rousey's gone and the Rousey's made up so dick of herself She might be like you know what? Yeah, why not why not people quite like me because I'm a bit of a workhorse or so I'll get a bit glory and she could get some serious cash with it as well because all the people that have been the top draws from Are gone.
Yeah, because you're not gonna wear a little she ain't gonna come out and say every time no I just never gonna see her again. She's not gonna be an extendable sport She's not or if she was she is the editor out because who wants to see that now the last two fights She's been completely dominated spit on me out and crying in the back and didn't show us off to be anything over them a spoiled Right, so he's gonna. He was gonna want to hire her for a film. She's not this bad ass anymore I think we'd be with you.
