A three-sport athlete in high school, she reflects on the impact of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, an event that shaped her perspective during her teenage years. Her first job involved working at Mazzio’s Pizza, owned by her father. Emily balances a demanding schedule alongside her husband, a division II basketball coach, and emphasizes the importance of having an understanding spouse.
