UIL state track storylines, 3 softball teams who could win it all, late signings and more

It's a crazy time of year, and we're always glad to see the UIL state track & field meet rolling out in Austin. Out of tons of kids competing, what Central Texas storylines are you most interested in?We're deep into the UIL state softball playoffs, with 3 Centex teams still standing in the regional finals. Do you think there are good odds all 3 will win state? If not, who's most likely out of Midway, Bosqueville and Jonesboro?We don't get too many football coaching changes in May, but Ty Robinson has left Crawford for Palestine, and the district quickly promoted Sam Moody to its HFC/AD role. For a program that traditionally has tons of stability, the Pirates now have 3 coaches in 3 seasons. Is Moody likely to be the guy for the long haul?November and February tend to be our biggest signing months, but we've had a burst of activity lately with Bosqueville, Midway, Lorena and others.
