UKONS 2022: cancer care in the digital age

The UKONS Annual Conference took place on 11th and 12th November 2022 in Belfast, Ireland. Leading experts gave updates on the latest challenges in oncology nursing, with discussion around the conference theme ‘cancer care in the digital age’. In this podcast, we hear from UKONS President Mark Foulkes (Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust) with an overview of the UKONS 2022 debate on in-person versus virtual consultations. We also speak with experts Catherine Oakley (St Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust) and Jo Armes (University of Surrey) who give interesting perspectives on the impact of digital innovations in oncology nursing and hazardous occupational exposure to cytotoxic drugs.
