Ukraine Germany Seal Drone Pact | US News

Ukraine and Germany are finalizing a landmark drone deal that will jointly develop drones, missiles, and software — a major boost to both nations’ defense capabilities. Building on existing ties, the pact includes Germany’s support for Ukraine’s Strila interceptor drones, a new joint venture between German Quantum Systems and Ukrainian WIY Drones to scale up production, and a massive order of 50,000 Shrike attack drones from SkyFall — one of Ukraine’s largest Western drone purchases. President Zelenskyy and Chancellor Merz also discussed expanding air defense aid and plan to meet in person soon.
