The whole idea is a sham. Ukraine's mineral wealth is located in its east (Donbas) which is naturally where the Soviets built their industry. This, with civilian infrastructure investment to support the industry, created a higher population density which was also dominantly Russia speaking and Russian ethnic. Consequently, when the Ukrainian neo-Nazi, US proxy threatened a genocide in Donbas and Russia responded with direct military and civilian aid, and invaded Kherson and Zaporozhye to secure its logistics, Russia began annexing the parts of Ukraine which contain its mineral wealth. Therefore, the theoretical 'mineral wealth' of Ukraine will not be Ukrainian when Western debts need servicing. The real prize is the $300 billion of Russia's central bank foreign reserves stolen by Western financial institutions (Euroclear etc.). It is the 'real prize', for there is no other.As this newsletter has repeatedly noted, central bankers don't like the idea of having their assets stolen.
