What this episode covers
In episode 293, I speak Wilk Wilkinson, husband, father, Christian conservative, and host of the Derate The Hate podcast. Wilk has, over the course of his life, made mistakes, but most importantly, has owned up to them and learned from them. He grew up poor, mostly in rural towns around the upper Midwest. He worked from the age of 10 years old so that he might have the things his parents could not provide for him. Wilk found himself heading down a self-destructive path, blaming his circunstances, and spiralling to a very dark place, when he finally discovered that ultimate freedom is not something to attain, but is something we already have. In this podcast we discuss many things from personal responsibility, gratitude, and how we attract everything we get in life. Hard to hear, but true. So, if you want to experience ultimate freedom, then listen to this powerful conversation.
