Ultraman Omega Episode 12 finally delivers on the emotional potential that has been buried inside this show the entire time.I still think Omega is a fundamentally flawed series overall. Too many episodes have struggled with execution, characterization, and consistency. But this episode finally gives Kosei an emotional payoff that actually works and retroactively improves the previous episode in the process.For the first time in a while, Omega and Kosei’s relationship genuinely felt compelling.This episode finally explains WHY Kosei has been spiraling emotionally. His frustration was never really about public opinion alone. It was about identity, purpose, and validation.
