Lauren explains the drive within each of us to harness a sense of main character energy. Stephen Dedalus and Leopold Bloom  may be unlikely heroes, but Ulysses demonstrates that we all have a bit of hero within us, and we can find it in the plainest of events and settings. Ulysses & #Relatability will highlight the frequency of moments in which these two men act just like her (and by extension, so many of us). If they are main characters, then we can be, too.

{Ulysses Chapters I-III} Lauren establishes her goal while reading Ulysses: highlighting moments of #relatability. Follow along to uncover the reasons why she (and you) aren't so different from Stephen Dedalus, Leopold Bloom, or any of the side characters in their story. Common humanity knits us all closer than we realize. This initial episode takes a general perspective as we highlight various moments of universality in Chapters one, two, and three, but the rest of the season will be strewn with anecdotes during which our host, Lauren, will bring the audience through personal memories and stories.
