Ele nasceu em São Paulo capital, estudou Regência Musical na UNICAMP e posteriormente cursou Engenharia Agronômica na ESALQ – Piracicaba. Apaixonado pela profissão. Ele é um empreendedor nato. Já trabalhou com P&D, como consultor técnico, representante comercial da Pioneer Sementes em Goiás que,  com essas experiências, teve uma imersão no cotidiano dos agricultores. Devido ao seu caráter empreendedor e inventivo fundou a J. Assy e, atualmente é empresário destacado  no setor agrícola, com inovações e tecnologias do gerenciamento preciso da dosagem de sementes ao monitoramento do plantio. Obstinado pelo desenvolvimento de produtos diferenciados, tem como pilares que eles devem ter: Simplicidade, Robustez; Desempenho e Design. Com sede na cidade de Caldas Novas, GO, sua empresa atua em todo o território nacional com centros de distribuição em Ponta Grossa, PR e Passo Fundo, RS. Possui um Centro de Pesquisas e Desenvolvimento na cidade de São Paulo, SP. A sua empresa hoje é multinacional. Ela está presente na Argentina, Estados Unidos e em fase de inauguração na Europa. Proxima etapa será Africa do Sul, visando atender o mercado asiático. Em 2013 recebeu das mãos da Presidente da República o prêmio FINEP como inventor inovador do ano. Hoje ele nos conta um pouco de sua história, sua evolução profissional e pessoal, seus estudos em Havard, sua visão solidária e comunitária, sua paixão pela musica classica entre outros atributos.
