Umar Khan: Why Being Famous Isn't Worth It

Comedian Umar Khan returns to If This Doesn't Work… after two years of touring, performing with some of comedy's biggest names, and figuring out what actually matters in life.Umar talks about traveling through Australia and New Zealand with Mark Normand, his early days alongside Stavros Halkias, working with Tim Dillon, and why chasing success in comedy isn't always what it's cracked up to be.We also get into his painfully awkward interaction with a woman at the gym, the absurdity of men's retreats, whether comedians can ever be truly authentic, the pressure of social media, marriage, choosing not to have kids, and why Umar believes he was simply born to chill.Plus: nicotine pouches, parking habits, recycling, growing older, and a surprising amount of conversation about sandwich crust.**FOLLOW UMAR KHAN**Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/umarkhan821/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@UmarKhan821Check out his comedy specials on YouTube:- Live in Baltimore- Who Cares- Let's Talk About ItFind upcoming shows through Umar's Instagram.📌 Support the show:Come Be On The Show: https://if-this-doesnt-work.pages.dev/Join Patreon: https://patreon.com/IfThisDoesntWork?utm_medium=unknown&utm_source=join_link&utm_campaign=creatorshare_fan&utm_content=copyLinkJoin YouTube Members for $0.99/month for exclusive content, bonus episodes & behind-the-scenes chaos.
