UMass Minutewomen's MAC Tournament Exit

The Massachusetts Minutewomen womens basketball team faced an early elimination from the Mid-American Conference tournament, losing their opening matchup to the Toledo Rockets. Despite a strong season record, UMass struggled with a slow start and poor shooting, allowing Toledo to secure a twelve-point lead at halftime. Coaches attributed the loss to Toledos tough defense, which shut down UMass stars and limited their offensive production. Standout performances from Yahmani McKayle and others couldnt save the Minutewomen, who finished with a disappointing loss and a season-ending note in Cleveland.
