UMBC's Armstrong Jr. Sparks Catastrophic Loss for Vermont

In a thrilling America East Conference championship, top-seeded UMBC defeated second-seeded Vermont 74-59. DJ Armstrong Juniors career-high 33 points, including 7 three-pointers, propelled UMBC to victory. Despite Vermonts second-half comeback, their three-point shooting faltered, securing UMBCs third NCAA bid and leaving Vermont out of the tournament. UMBC now awaits their seeding and matchup on Selection Sunday, with projections suggesting a possible matchup against number one Duke in the East Region.
