Estudiantes y graduados bahienses alcanzaron el primer lugar en una competencia de alcance global promovida por varias empresas y una universidad canadiense. Los ganadores propusieron un sistema de medición y monitoreo de parámetros en la agricultura utilizando tecnologías digitales. El trabajo se enfocó en el uso racional de agroquímicos, semillas y agua dulce. Según destacan sus creadores, permitiría ahorrar más de 6.900 millones de pesos al año en insumos desaprovechados, y generar ahorros en agua y combustible, además de una agricultura más ecológica.
