UN Resolution 79/239: Military AI & Global Security

Global powers are rapidly investing in Artificial Intelligence to score "absolute military advantage" and "relative gains". Yet, at the same time, the international community has formally affirmed through UN Resolution 79/239 that international law and human rights must apply to these technologies throughout their entire life cycle.This episode asks a simple but serious question: If the international community agrees that human dignity must be protected, why are we racing toward a future where algorithms—rather than humans—may decide who lives and who dies?.
