UN Summit and Cell Phone Ban in Swing

The 80th UN General Assembly kicked off today with speeches from world leaders, including the UN Secretary General and President Trump. WFUV’s Xenia Gonikberg tells us more about the eventful first day and what is yet to come. Governor Kathy Hochul implemented a bell-to-bell ban on student cell phones in all New York public schools this fall. Three weeks into the school year, the mandate has some teachers rejoicing and some students resistant. WFUV’s Joseph Vizza reports.
