Informal comments to the media by Ambassador Ferit Hoxha, Permanent Representative of Albania to the United Nations, and President of the Security Council for the month of September, on the situation in Yemen.According to the President of the Security Council, Member States expressed on Monday (11 Sep) their support for the UN-led peace process based on the agreed references and reiterated the urgency for the Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue and a nationwide ceasefire.Earlier this morning, Security Council members held their monthly meeting on Yemen in closed consultations.They were briefed by the Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, the Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Joyce Msuya, and the Head of the UN Mission to Support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA), Major General Michael Beary.After the meeting, Ferit Hoxha addressed the press.
