Ucrania celebra que la Unión Europea ha decidido abrir negociaciones para su adhesión al bloque comunitario, al igual que con Moldavia. La decisión había que tomarla por unanimidad y eso fue posible porque Hungría no participó en la votación porque lo considera un error y no ha levantado el veto a la ayuda a Kiev de 50.000 millones. Putin, que ayer dio su primera gran rueda de prensa desde la invasión, dijo que la paz llegará cuando Rusia alcance sus objetivos. Y esto le sirvió a la Casa Blanca para mandar un mensaje a los republicanos que bloquean en el Congreso la ayuda a Ucrania. El mundo mira a EEUU para que ponga fin a la guerra o fuerce otra tregua en Gaza donde según la ONU la mitad de la población se está muriendo de hambre y ya no es un lugar habitable. Pero Netanyahu sigue desoyendo a los emisarios de Washington. En la UE no hay consenso para acordar una petición de alto el fuego. El Banco Central Europeo no ha subido los tipos de interés, pero no baja la guardia. Dice un estudio de la Universidad de California que ser madrugador fue una ventaja evolutiva de los neandertales.
