Dr. Humayun “Hank” Chaudhry is a physician, medical educator, and the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) of the United States, which represents the nation’s state medical licensing boards and co-sponsors the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). Dr. Chaudhry brings his background in public health, and keen interests in federal and state health policy, medical education, medical licensure and discipline to his position to bring healthcare to greater heights. Within the FSMB, he is working to advance the interstate compact for medical licensure and policy recommendations related to artificial intelligence and patient safety.
