Jim Rozell serves as Hotel Compete’s Founder and CEO. Jim has extensive experience in data mining, modeling, and manipulation. Jim has developed models that predict revenues, determine aircraft allocations, optimize room inventory, manage rates, and assess competitors. His expertise in identifying performance opportunities and strategically aligning goals with implementation has contributed to immediate impact solutions and successful revenue improvement. Throughout his career, he has been the architect of some of the largest travel data structures in the industry, contributing to many projects that are still being actively utilized today. Jim was introduced to the travel industry at a young age, first stuffing envelopes for his mother’s travel agencies. At age 16, he got his first job working at American Airlines and proceeded to work for the company for 20 years while graduating from The University of Texas at Arlington. Jim transitioned from the airline industry to the hotel industry and worked at Travelweb, The Mark Travel Corporation, and Carlson Hotels Worldwide in revenue and profit optimization roles. Above all, Jim is a leader. He finds the most rewarding part of his career is helping his employees achieve greatness.
