"Uncle Wiggily and the Candlestick Maker" follows Uncle Wiggily Longears, a rabbit gentleman who sets out one cold evening to visit his friend Mr. Longtail. Along the way he stumbles upon a brass candlestick in the woods — and soon discovers its owner: a little man from the Mother Goose rhyme, racing rivals through frozen forest paths in a washtub-turned-sled.
