Uncle Wiggily and the Clam | Ocean Animal Stories

This story follows Uncle Wiggily, an adventurous rabbit, who wakes up in his seaside home and sets out to find his fortune along the beach with his friend, the grasshopper. Along their journey, they encounter familiar seaside sounds, reminisce about a prior lobster encounter, and meet playful children, but find no treasures. As they decide to go for a swim, Uncle Wiggily has a dramatic encounter with a curious and persistent fish called the toggle-taggle, who attempts to take him to an underwater den. Fortunately, the resourceful rabbit receives unexpected help from a brave clam, who pinches the bad fish's tail, allowing Uncle Wiggily to escape to safety. Though he cannot thank the clam right away, the rabbit is grateful for its intervention.
