Uncle Wiggily and the Crooked Man is a short story following Uncle Wiggily Longears, a rabbit gentleman, who discovers a bent and twisted coin on his daily woodland walk. When he encounters a thoroughly crooked old man from a Mother Goose rhyme — bent nose, curled pockets and all — desperate to recover his lost crooked sixpence, Uncle Wiggily realises he may already have the answer in his pocket.
