"Uncle Wiggily and the Fiddler" is a short story following Uncle Wiggily, an old gentleman rabbit still searching for his fortune along a sandy beach. When a tip from a slow-crawling snail leads him to a grand midnight dance of the sand fleas, the party is nearly ruined — the musicians can't come and there is no music to dance to.
