While exploring a new path, the thirsty rabbit gentleman Uncle Wiggily discovers a pool but finds a sign from Alice (of Wonderland fame) warning him not to drink until she arrives. Despite his thirst and the arrival of a hungry bear who intends to eat him, Uncle Wiggily patiently respects the warning. The impatient bear ignores the sign, drinks from the pool, and shrinks away into nothingness.
