Uncle Wiggily and the Thunder Storm is a short story following Uncle Wiggily Longears, a rabbit gentleman who sets out in his homemade airship before a gathering storm. When a strong gust of wind dashes a robin against a church steeple and breaks its wing, Uncle Wiggily swoops in to catch the falling bird on his cushioned basket.
